Wanted: Cameron Crazies

If you watched a couple of Duke Men's basketball games you may have noticed a few empty seats in the students section. Known to most as the Cameron Crazies, Duke's once strong student population has been absent from some of their games, which has allowed some students to get tickets even 15 minutes into the game.

"The attendance last year was pathetic in terms of fan support, and that's something we're trying to rectify this year," said Duke Senior Roberto Bazzani

In getting kids to go to games instead of say study for class, Duke has created a new online ticketing system that will allow students to put their names on a list up to three days before a particular game. The student would then have to go to the ticket window at least an hour before game time to pick up his/her ticket on a first come first served basis.

"We wanted to be able to make the system easier for students. They won't
have to miss class, won't have to wait in line as long," Mitch Moser, the
associate director of athletics said.

But have no fear, Krzyzewskiville will still be in full force especially before big games like North Carolina and Maryland where the system will not be in effect. So much for going to class.
