more garbage duty for you

The Penn State football team is like two players short of being able to have their own prison team after two players were charged with assault for their involvement in a campus fight on October 6th. Navorro Bowman and Chris Baker are facing felony aggravated assault, simple assault, disorderly conduct, summary harassment and stalking charges, which their lawyers claim they are innocent of.
"We maintained he was not involved in the fight," Baker's lawyer said while Bowman's retorted, "The charges and the documents clearly paint a picture of self-defense."

Yeah you guys might want to reach a consensus on that one. The players allegedly were involved in an off campus fight which resulted in a person's bloodied nose and lip. In addition to Baker and Bowman's charges, a third team member Knowledge Timmons was issued a summons for his disorderly conduct and defiant trespass charges which stemmed from a post fight incident. October 6th was not a good day for the Nittany Lions.

The football team issued a statement regarding the charges:
"In early October, several players had been demoted and/or lost playing time based upon our initial understanding of the facts regarding the incident. Based upon today's information, Chris Baker, Navorro Bowman and Knowledge Timmons will not travel with the team to East Lansing."

Although they didn't feel the same way when Baker was charged in a separate incident in April which put him on probation but did not bar him from playing in any games this season. Looks like these guys are going to be picking up some trash around the stadium. Watch out Chris, Navorro and Knowledge, because the popo are on your tail!
