NASCAR Update:
DEI is making some big changes to propel them to better things in the future. They announced the promotion of Davie Charpentier to Technical Director replacing Steve Hmiel who moved to Ganassi last month. They will also reorganize their engineering division into three sections. IN addition to their technical improvements, Doug Randolph will take over crew chiefing for the #15 driven by Paul Menard after Thanksgiving.

If you're reading this in Mexico, say hello to current points leader Jimmie Johnson who is on vacation with his wife Chandra.

Former owner Bobby Ginn has reached an agreement with Joe Nemechek, Sterling Marlin, Peter Sospenzo and Richard "Slugger" Labbe over breach of contract. Two former employees cases are still pending.

Former Roush Fenway driver Todd Kluever is looking for a ride. Kluever was the original replacement for the #6 car currently being driven by David Ragan.

Football Update:
Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Marcus Stroud will miss the next four games after violating the NFL's steriod policy.

Don Shula, coach of the undefeated 1972 Dolphins says if the Patriots run the table, they should get an asterisk.

Quaterback news, the Vikings signed Koy Detmer on Tuesday just in case their injured QBs need a little help...J.P. Losman will be back at the helm of the Buffalo Bills for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.

2005 Seniors Division of the World Series of Poker winner Paul McKinney was arrested after Tennesse police raided his poker game. McKinney was charged with aggravated gammbling promotion on suspicion of organizing and promoting the event as well as possession of Schedule III narcotics. He was released on $3,250 bond. Watch out Paul, because the popo are on your tail!

Braves Update:
Braves new GM Frank Wren says he'll be looking to acquire a new center fielder via trades rather than the weak free agent market. (Of course there is always Aaron Rowand!)

It was a great week for Jeff Francoeur, he married his high school sweatheart over the weekend and then picked up his first Gold Glove Award along with teammate Andruw Jones.

With its average ticket price of $89.24, it is. They're up 4.5% this season, making it the most expensive ticket in the NBA...No brawl, boring, but the Knicks were able to walk away with the win, a 119-112 win over the Nuggets. I was hoping for another punch and run by Carmelo...The Big Ten should steer clear of playing Division II games after the Ohio State basketball team lost to Findlay 70-68 in an exhibition game. You may remember Michigan's football's 34-32 loss to Appalachian State, a Division I-Championship Subdivision team earlier this fall.
