more taser news

Houston Texans offensive lineman Fred Weary is suing the city of Houston and two of its popo officers after he was shot with a taser gun during a November 2006 arrest. Weary was pulled over by the popo because he did not have a front license plate and apparently was driving "supiciously." I don't know what that means but I'm doubting it would ever consitute using a taser. Freddy has accused the city of

"excessive force, assault, racial profiling, false imprisonment and malicious prosecution."
The misdemeanor charges filed against Weary were adventually dropped due to a lack of evidence. We may need to start a campaign to put the taser down!
