popo in my crib news

Every once in a while a story grabs you and says please post me! So even though this isn't totally sports related it's about the popo so we had to put it on.

A Madison, Wis popo officer was reprimanded for accidently shooting a taser into his hand. The unnamed popo was conducting a standard "checkout procedure" on his equipment when the taser went off. Because the taser was loaded (tasers use air cartridges to propel the taser's prongs and release the electricity) the popo violated department policy. The incident happened on July 31st.

Why is everyone so taser happy? First Marlins pitcher Scott Olsen gets tasered for sitting in a lawn chair on his property...or maybe because he refused to stop for the popo and then tried to attack them...then a Florida student gets tasered for asking John Kerry too many questions during a Q&A even though he asked security not to "tase me bro"...what's next, professional hockey players getting tasered by the refs for fights during the game? Put down the tasers popo!

It's been fun blogging with you,
