Embarressing

Football Update:
It was all it was hyped up to be, but in the end the Packers were unable to keep pace with the Dallas Cowboys and fell 37-27. Packers QB Brett Farve left the game before the second half with an injured elbow and separated shoulder.

St. Louis Rams QB Mark Bulger will miss Sunday's game against the Falcons with a concussion.

Broncos RB Travis Henry is ready to kick some ass this weekend.

The Pats spread against the Ravens is a mere 20 points. Try harder next time.

The Giants look to put their little killing at home against the Vikings last weekend to rest, but they'll be traveling to Solider Field to heal their hearts. Can they get back on track? Find out on Sunday at 4:15 PM/est on Fox.

Baseball Update:
The Mets are interested in Johan Santana but they are not willing to trade Jose Reyes to get him.

More Santana gossip, how about Johan to the Red Sox for Coco Crisp, John Lester and Jed Lowrie?

Jorge Posada says the Yankees should go after Santana...and that Andy Pettite is leaning towards retirement...oh yeah, he finalized a contract with the Yankees.

Aaron Rowand is not sure where he'll be heading in 2008 but he still has his former team the Chicago White Sox on his list. No! Stay in Philly...you know, if they offer you something close.

Speaking of Philly, pitching ace Cole Hamels says he's getting in shape for 2008...And they unveiled new home alternate uniforms.

HBO wants to make a movie based on "Book of Shadows" which among other things chronicles Barry Bonds' steriod use.

Braves Update:
The Braves are planning on offering reliever Ron Mahay arbitration. If Mahay does not sign with the Braves, they'll recieve a draft pick as compensation.

Popo in my crib News:
Houston Texans offensive lineman Chester Pitts was arrested on Thursday and charged with felony evading arrest. Seems Pitts wasn't into hanging out with the popo and sped off after being stopped near Reliant Stadium. Watch out Chester, because the popo are on your tail!

News & Notes: Can it get any worse for the New York Knicks? They just lost to the Boston Celtics 104-59...LeBron James is listed as day-to-day with a sprained finger. The Cavs are totally screwed without him...Phil Jackson got a two year contract extension with the Los Angeles Lakers worth a reported $24 million...Tom Osborne has declared himself the interim head coach at Nebraska so the Cornhuskers won't lose out on top recruits...Louisville took revenge on Rutgers 41-38...The NHL has approved the sale of the Nashville Predators...And they changed the schedule so that every team plays each other at least one time...The Rangers finally figured out the Islanders in their 4-2 win...Dale Earnhardt, Jr. may have completed his first winless season, but the fans still love him. He was voted as the most popular driver for the fifth straight year...He's also not sure he could follow Helio Castroneves on Dancing with the Stars. However, always thing about the ladies, Junior says he's not opposed to taking a dance class because "the girls like that in the club"... First Aaron Fike thanked his arrest for saving his life, now Tyler Walker is calling his positive drug test a blessing. I wonder what Shane Hmiel is thinking?

Check this out: Love the Hills, you probably love this more. All I have to say is James Francos wig totally distracted me the first three times I watched it!

It's been fun blogging with you,
Kate
