Billy Crystal will get to make all of his boyhood dreams come true on Thursday when he plays in an exhibition game for the New York Yankees. Crystal signed a one day minor league deal with the team following approval from baseball commissioner Bud Selig."I'm overwhelmed by the generosity of the Yankees and commissioner Selig," Crystal said about the opportunity, " I know this'll be tougher than the Broadway Softball League, but I'm looking forward to helping the younger players, which by the way is all of them. Oops, I have to go, Scott Boras is on the phone."
While manager Joe Girardi is not sure what position Crystal will play, he does know that he'll be sporting a no. 60 on his jersey commemorating his 60th birthday which will take place on Friday.
