The Knicks are getting no loving

With the turmoil surrounding the Knicks it should come as no surprise that they aren’t exactly a fan favorite in the Empire state. A new poll conducted among New Yorkers found that just 2% of people living in New York State called the Knicks their favorite team. The Red Sox who don’t even play in New York ranked higher with 3% of those polled naming them their favorite. (Transplants I pray)

The poll also showed that the New York Yankees ranked as the States most loved team (surprise, surprise) brining in 27% with the New York Mets following in second with 12% and the Super Bowl champion Giants coming in third with 9% of the vote, proving that in New York, baseball remains its sport of choice. Others receiving votes included the Buffalo Sabres and Bills, New York Rangers and Jets and Syracuse University.
