Avery wraps up his Internship

Since we made such a big deal about Mr. Avery’s summer internship at Vogue in May, we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention that Sean has completed his time at the Women’s mag and plans to spend the rest of the summer at the beach…in a Speedo…because he’s “trying to [bring] the European flavor to America.” Kid, I think David Beckham tried that last year and people still are not buying it.

Come July 1st Avery could be a hot property, but the left winger has said that he’d like to stay in New York, however he'd likely only do that for more than the $2.75 million the Rangers offered him last winter. We’ll have to see if his salary demands fit into the Blue Shirts plans, but until then, I’ll try to block the mental image of Sean in a Speedo.
