So that's what happened to the Phillies

(photo: si.com)
The Phillies came into their playoff series after overcoming a seven game lead in 17 days. But possible MVP canididate Jimmy Rollins thinks he knows where the Phils went wrong.

"When [the press] leaves, everybody gets excited. The music's on. Everybody's
jumping around," said Rollins – which maybe led to overexcitement, and, then,
poor hitting. "Enjoying ourselves. Pumping ourselves up . . . [They needed to]
play a little more kosher . . . Maybe trying to swing a little harder. Maybe
instead of hitting a single, trying to get a double this time." (source)

Rollins hopes that next time the time will learn not to get so excited. I guess it's a good thing that the Phils are looking foward to next season.

While you wait for next season, you may want to pick up some kitchen goodies for Pat Burrell and his fiancee Michelle. That's just a few of the items on their registry for their November nuptuals. (via ben mailer)

It's been fun blogging with you,
Kate
