He Said She Said

The budding romance between country crooner Carrie Underwood and football stud Tony Romo seems to be on the outs. Especially since Carrie was seen around New York City with Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford. While they're courtship may have been relatively private (less that appearance at the ACMs earlier this year) the two stars have opened up to the press as of late. Carrie told Entertainment Weekly that the two were headed towards a relationship but were unable to make it past his football obsession.

''At one point it seemed like that's where it was headed. But point blank, he is about football. I don't know if it's that I'm not quite his type or whatever, but I don't think he's at the point in his life where he would be willing to sacrifice football. " (source)

Don't you hate it when work gets in the way. For his part, Romo told Sports Illustrated in last weeks issue that he was lucky enough to get to know her but did not elaborate past that. While, I'm sure Tony could get a different member of the DCC every night of the week, he maybe should have stuck with Carrie.

It shouldn't suprise you that these revelations have come out only a week before Ms. Underwood's album drops (10/23). But if you're curious, click here to listen to her new album Carinval Ride. If I do say so myself, it looks like Carrie's got another winner on her hands.

It's been fun blogging with you,
Kate
