Downgrade, Mr. Romo, downgrade

People Magazine is reporting that Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo spent Friday night hanging out with Ms. Britney Spears. Apparently, Spears and here cousin Alli Simms were hanging out at LA hotspot Ketchup where Romo was having dinner. The group later met up at club Les Duex. But don't get too nervous, Simms and Romo have been friends for about a year and were planning on hanging out.

While Simms is a major downgrade from Romo's previous flames Carrie Underwood and Sophia Bush, she is an upgrade from her car wreck of a cousin Britney Spears.

UPDATE: Mr. Romo has talked with ET.com (classy) and has refuted reports that he got a lap dance from Britney Spears and that he ever dated Jessica Simpson. Thank goodness, because I was getting worried about your taste Tony. Now find yourself a nice playboy playmate and be done with it!
