NASCAR Update:
It's two in a row for Jeff Gordon after winning at Lowe's Motor Speedway on Saturday night at the Bank of America 500, extending his points lead. A late race crash involving Ryan Newman put the race intp extras and some doubt in the minds of Gordon and his crew as to whether they had enough gas to get to the finish. But he did, breaking a streak of DNFs at Lowe's dating back to 2004. For only the second time during the Chase, the top five was populated with only chasers including teammates Clint Bowyer and Jeff Burton, Kyle Busch and Carl Edwards.
Race Results Points Standings

This is like "The Office" episode when it's Halloween and Michael has to fire someone and he's kind of hoping someone will quit. Well, Sauter told reporters he has been given permission to look else where. Maybe Cumberland Mills?

Michael Watlrip Racing announced David Reutimann and Dale Jarrett will share racing duties in the #44 UPS Toyota in 2008. Waltrip has also added a partner, Robert Kauffman, a founder of Fortress Investment Group. The company will be renamed Michael Waltrip Racing Holdings, LLC.
