Baseball Update:
Thursday's Recap
Rockies 1, Red Sox 2
Unlike game 1's slugfest, game 2 came down to a good old fashioned pitcher's duel with Boston's tandum of Johnathan Papelbon and Hedeki Okajima holding onto a slim one run lead in the Red Sox's win. A two out RBI single by Mike Lowell scored David Ortiz to give the Sox a 2 games to none lead heading into game 3 in Colorado.
WP: Curt Schilling (1-0) LP: Ubaldo Jimenez (0-1)
SV: Johnathan Papelbon (1)
Sox lead 2-0
