Baseball Update:
Sunday's Game
Indians 2, Red Sox 11
Jake Westbrook got off to a rocky start for the Indians giving up a run in each of the first three innings. Westbrook was able to settle in for the next three but the damage was done. Two base running errors by Kenny Lofton and a two run homerun by Dustin Pedroia in the seventh inning sealed the win for the Red Sox and their second trip to the World Series in four seasons.
WP: Diasuke Matsuzaka (1-1) LP: Jake Westbrook (1-1)

NASCAR Update:
Hendrick Motorsports made it three in a row with Jimmie Johnson's victory in the Subway 500, hitting their stride at the perfect time. The race was highlighted with a season high number of cautions, 21, including Casey Mears and Bobby Labonte's lap 498 crash which took the race into overtime and a lap 505 David Ragan crash which put an official end to the race. Seven out of the top 10 drivers were chasers but Jeff Gordon's third place finish has made this 12 man playoff into a two man run.
