I have to admit, when I watch Buffalo Sabres games, I often refer to goaltender Ryan Miller as faux-Hamels, because of his uncanny resemblance to the Phillies ace pitcher Cole Hamels. Well on Wednesday, it was a banner day for both players as Miller stopped 32 shots in the Sabres 3-1 victory over the Maple Leafs and Cole Hamels picked up his World Series ring in a ceremony held before the Phillies rallied from seven runs down to knock off the Braves, 12-11.
