Buffalo Bills defensive back Donte Whitner was tased early Saturday morning during a melee outside of the House of Blues in Cleveland. The NFLer was subdued by the popo after he broke free of their grasp. Whitner claimed his cousins were involved in the fracas and were in possession of a gun. Is your cousin Plaxico Burress or Marshawn Lynch?Former Ohio State teammate and Miami Dolphin WR Ted Ginn, Jr. was hosting a party at the nightclub where Whitner was arrested and later jailed for aggravated disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was formerly charged on Monday.
Whitner represents the third Buffalo Bill to be arrested this offseason. He joins Ko Simpson, who was arrested on New Year’s Day and the aforementioned Marshawn Lynch in Roger Goodell’s doghouse.
Is it just me or are the popo being a little more liberal in their use of stun guns these days?
