The NHL playoffs kicked off Wednesday night with all three of the Staal brothers taking to the ice. (Only Eric’s team, the Hurricanes ended up on the losing side). But while I was watching the opening week of the major league baseball season, I may have found the fifth Staal brother, Cubs second baseman Mike Fontenot. Just look at the evidence below:

If not for the fact that he is like 5’ 7” and plays baseball, not hockey, I would totally think Fontenot’s last name would be Staal. It's almost a separated at family situation going on.
