Phillies broadcaster Harry Kalas has passed away after being found in the broadcast booth prior to the start of the Phillies game against the Nationals in Washington on Monday. He was 73.
Kalas joined the Phillies in 1971 after calling games for the Houston Astros from 1965-70. In 2002, he received the Baseball Hall of Fame’s Ford C. Frick Award for his contributions to the game.
One thing is for sure, he will be missed!
