Nascar Update:
Auto Club Speedway (formerly California Speedway) believes that reconfiguring the 2 mile track to make it into a restrictor-plate track is "an idea worth considering seriously." While his track is one of the more boring tracks to watch, I'd think he should really deal with that drainage problem before trying to recreate Talladega and Daytona. I'm pretty sure most drivers would tell you two restrictor-plate tracks are enough.
