Football Update:
Randy Moss and Tom Brady are just two of the 2007 All-Pro team announced on Wednesday. Congrats to all the players.

The Cleveland Browns plans for 2008 and beyond will include Romeo Crennel and Derek Anderson. So the only question left is what are they going to do with Brady Quinn?

The Super Bowl generates millions of dollars for not only the network but the town in which it is held. This is exactly why Gridiron Greats is hoping it can make about $500,000 in the days leading up to the Super Bowl which would benefit former players.

Baseball Update:

The Oakland A's avoided arbitration by signing Justin Duchscherer to a one year deal.

The Brewers signed reliever Brian Shouse to a one year $2 million contract.

Rumors have the Marlins interested in signing Luis Gonzalez.

Aaron Rowand maybe trying to get himself mentally ready for the new season, but he's claiming his new team the San Francisco Giants will be competitive. No Aaron, the Phillies are going to be competitive, the Giants are going to be terrible.

Sad news, former Boston Red Sox owner Edward "Buddy" LeRoux has died. He was 77.

Popo in my crib News:
The Titans request to be dropped from a lawsuit stemming from a shooting in a Las Vegas strip club was granted. Tommy Urbanski was suing the team along with the NFL and Pacman Jones for injuries sustained in the shooting. Watch out people, because the popo are on your tail!

Virginia Tech running back Branden Ore testified in a U.S. District Court trail of Tony Majette on drug possession charges. Ore was in Majette's car when Ore claims Majette tossed him a baggy of crack cocaine after passing a popo car. Ore and Majette were on their way to look at tires for Majette's car according to Ore's testimony. Watch out Tony, because the popo are on your tail!

News & Notes: Isiah Thomas chose an interesting time to get kicked out of the Knicks latest loss, this time to the Houston Rockets. With the Knicks down by three, Thomas decided to get fiesty, too bad his team didn't follow...Jason Kidd may have ditched the stache and his triple double streak, but the Nets did pick up the win, a 99-88 victory over the Sonics...The Bobcats put an end to the Celtics latest win streak witha 95-83 win...Don't listen to the media, Pat Riley has no plans to resign as coach...The Red Wings extended goalie Chris Osgood's contract by three years...It was a good night on Tobacco Road with UNC remaining undefeated with their 93-81 win over UNC-Asheville and Duke's 74-64 win over Temple. The win moved Mike Krzyzewski into 6th place on the career wins list...Ole Miss suffered their first loss of the season after falling to Tennessee 85-83...Federer and Henin are the top seeds for this years Australian Open...Kelly Tilghman isn't unemployed after her "lynching" remarks about Tiger Woods, but she will have some free time after being suspended by the Golf Channel for two weeks...Double amputee sprinter Oscar Pistorius is expected to be declared ineligible to compete in the Beijing Olympics "because his prosthetic racing blades give him an unfair advantage"...Chip Ganassi isn't letting Juan Pablo Montoya have it easy this season. It's Chase or die for the former Formula1 driver...Kyle Busch ended the Daytona testing session number one on the speed chart.

Check this out: Normally on Thursdays, I would get all comfy on my couch, turn on channel four and watch "The Office" and probably end up falling off my couch laughing.
