Monday's practice for Washington State took a scary turn when reserve Stephen Sauls collapsed and stopped breathing. The freshman guard was revived by trainer Nick Gallato before being taken to Pullman Regional Hospital.
During a team scrimage, Sauls, who hails from Missouri City, TX, may have suffered a concussion when he was hit with an elbow by another player. He later "went down on all fours, rose to his feet and walked around for a few seconds before falling to his knees, then to the floor."
This incident is following a very scary trend for young athletes.
