Romo to have more time to spend in Cabo with girlfriend, girlfriend's parents

Football Update:
The Giants can credit both their offense for getting 21 points on the board and their defense for holding the Cowboys to only 17 points, but their special teams was the spark that catipulted the team into the NFC title game. Eli Manning made it two straight games without a interception, while the Cowboys' Tony Romo made one interception that ended the game with 9 seconds to go in their 21-17 loss.

Earlier on Sunday, the Chargers upset the Indianapolis Colts 28-24. When the day started did you think Eli would be the only Manning playing next weekend?

Braves Update:
While the Braves have contended that they would figure out the centerfield position come Spring Trianing when they get a good view of their outfield prospects including Jordan Schaeffer. But maybe they've decided that's not a good call after a report has the A's sending Mark Kotsay to Atlanta for reliever Joey Devine and cash. The possibility of the deal had many Braves smiling including Tom Glavine.

Former Brave Brian Jordan made an appearance at Braves FanFest when he read his book "I Told You I Can Play" to about 70 people.

Good news for Braves fans, Mark Teixeira seems to have healed very nicely from November's arthroscopic knee surgery.

News & Notes: The Chicago Bulls voted to bench their teammate Joakim Noah for Sunday's game against the Hawks after he got into a verbal sparring match with assistant coach Ron Adams during practice on Friday. Noah missed Friday's game against the 76ers...The Bulls went onto lose the Hawks, 105-84...The Los Angeles Lakers slim 100-99 win over the Memphis Grizzles came at a cost as Andrew Bynum left in the third quarter with a sprained knee. Bynum will undergo an MRI to see the extent of the injury...Not only did the Knicks win, but they held the Pistons to just 65 points in their 89-65 win...The woeful Heat got a boost on Sunday after Shaq practiced for the first time since missing 8 games with an injured hip...Congrats to Bode Miller who picked up his record 27th World Cup win on Sunday...Red Bull Racing has hired Jay Frye as their GM...Sad news, Morgan-McClure Motorsports has closed its doors citing a lack of sponsorship...Congratulations to Damion "The Demon" Gardner on winning the Chili Bowl.
