Yankees not Happy with Manny being Manny

Manny Ramirez's stop and stare approach to hitting homeruns was not appreciated by the New York Yankees on Thursday who had to watch Manny watch his homerun twice in the first three innings. So the team decided to give him a little payback by having Kyle Farnsworth throw behind him in the seventh inning. Although the move was not unprecendented, in fact the Red Sox had done it to Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez the night before however, Farnsworth claimed the ball "just slipped" but Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia wasn't buying that story saying "He throws 100 mph. That's career-ending if it hits him." Although that's thinking that Farnsworth has some sort of control and as any Yankee fan will tell you, that's not usually the case with ol' Kyle. This lastest dust up reaffirms that indeed these two teams do actually hate each other and that little spat between the Yankees and Rays is over, because the Bronx Bombers only have eyes for one true rivalry and that's with the Sox. Too bad the teams aren't playing each other tonight, because I could see a bench clearing brawl in the works.
