Quake won't stop Dodgers from playing ball

The Dodgers will play their scheduled game against their rival San Francisco Giants despite an afternoon earthquake that shook Los Angeles at 2:42 local time. Dodger Stadium did feel the quake, however there was no damage done to the stadium that would prevent the game from being played.

The quake, which was measured at 5.4, was centered in the Chino Hills and after shocks have stung the area, with the largest measuring at 3.8. Count earthquakes as another reason I’m not packing my bags and moving to the left coast.

It's been fun blogging with you,
Kate
