New Colts Stadium Exemplifies Superior Craftsmanship

Nothing says quality craftsmanship like three separate roof leaks. But this little incident at the Colts new $700 million stadium, Lucas Oil Stadium hasn’t caused any alarm for the team. Instead, they reassured fans they’ll be ready for the public opening on August 16th.

"At this juncture, no one's reporting that we're going to miss our opening dates," John Klipsch, executive director of the Stadium and Convention Building Authority said.

The damages to the data center and other areas were caused by heavy thunderstorms in Indianapolis, which lead three roof drains to malfunction, triggering the leaks. Crews are still trying to identify what caused the problem. Well hopefully they can get that figured out, because I don’t think people like to be rained on in an indoor stadium. But that’s just a guess.
