Um,16?

Football Update:
The Pro Bowl was announced on Tuesday. Sean Taylor, who was killed in November, made the team as a starting free safety. For the AFC team click here. For the NFC team click here. Osi Umenyiora was the only Giant to make the squad.

The Falcons want Bill Parcells to join their team in the front office and maybe fill that head coach opening?

The Broncos have released punter Todd Sauerbrun.

Herm Edwards is sorry for telling the fans to "get over it." In related news, the fans are sorry for laughing so loudly when the Chiefs fire Edwards for their current 4-10 season which includes a current seven game slide.

Tony Romo's thumb is feeling better but it's still probably not a good idea to invite your girlfriend to a game ever again. What am I talking about, as a Giants fan, invite Jessica Simpson to every game you play for the rest of your short term relationship!

In other Cowboys' news, Roy Williams is appealing his one game suspension.

What better way to send your holiday greetings than with a PETA sponsored card which makes fun of Michael Vick? Oh wait, there are about 10 million better ways to send your greetings. Goodness, PETA MOVE ON!

Baseball Update:
If you used steriods after 2003, you may be screwed!

Roger Clemens broke his silence releasing a statement that denies any HGH or steriods use.

Meanwhile, the league and the players union are negotiating six of the recommendations made in the Mitchell Report.

And, Congress is calling a hearing to revied performance enhancing drugs in baseball. Isn't there a war or something that they could be spending time reviewing?

Oh, and Pete Rose called steriods in baseball more embarrassing then say, betting on baseball.

The Mariners are actively persuing Carlos Silva with a four year, $44 million deal.

The Mets signed reliever Matt Wise to a one year contract.

The Astros have signed former Braves reliever Chad Paronto to a one year, $500,000 deal. I think they may have overpaid.

The Nationals home opener of their new stadium will kick off domestic play for MLB on March 30th. The Nationals will be hosting the Atlanta Braves.

Speaking of new stadiums, the Marlins may actually get one of their own.

Alex Rodriguez and Scott Boras' frosty relationship has officially come to a close. ARod has hired Guy Oseary whose clients have included Modonna and Lenny Kravitz. I hope he's not planning on releasing an album!

Sad news, Blue Jays broadcaster Don Chevrier has died. He was 69.

Braves Update:
Mark Teixeira underwent arthoscopic knee surgery in November. Teixiera and his doctors are confident he'll be back to full strength by the start of spring training.

Popo in my crib News:
Denver Broncos wide reciever Brandon Marshall plead not guilty to a charge of DUI which stemmed from an October 22nd arrest following the Broncos 31-28 defeat of the Steelers. Seems someone was allegedly celebrating a meaningless win a little too hard! Marshall is also facing charges of driving the wrong way on a one way street. Gee, anyone sober person could make that mistake huh Brandon? Watch out Brando, because the popo are on your tail!

The New York Yankees traveling secretary David Szen pleaded guilty to filing a false tax return which omitted more than $50,000 in tips from players and coaches. Szen, who was fired by the Yankees, faces up to six months in prison and a fine of up to $100,000 plus the $10,285 in back taxes when he is sentenced on March 7th. Watch out Dave, because the popo are on your tail!
