Now that's some expensive bug spray

The bug spray used to protect Yankees pitcher Joba Chamberlian from the biting midges in Jacobs Field during game 2 of the ALDS in October was sold for $673. The Yanks were swarmed by a group of angry tiny bugs during the game which saw Indians DH Travis Hafner win the game and propell the Indians to the next round of the playoffs. No player seemed to be attacked more than the chosen one, sweet Joba. The spray was a part of large MLB auction online.

It's been fun blogging with you,
Kate
