I'm sorry, am I in San Francisco?

Braves Update:
John Smoltz gave up an early run to the Diamondbacks in the first, but by the fourth batter in the top of that inning, the Braves already had a one run lead and never looked back. Mark Teixeira had 2 two run homers and Yunel Escobar added a solo shot in the Braves 6-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. By avoiding the sweep the Braves went 3-3 on their homestand but gave up two more games to the surging Mets. The Braves start a four game series with the Cincinnati Reds tonight at 7:10 PM/est on SS.

Games behind NY Mets in NL East: 5.5
Games above .500: 6
NL Wild Card Leader: San Diego Padres

Braves Notes: Not only did John Smoltz fan 12 batters on Sunday, but he surpassed Phil Nierko to become the Braves all-time strike out leader...two time all-star, Brian McCann and older brother Brad are in the latest edition of ESPN the Magazine. Check out the article here.
