Baseball: Chase Utley homered twice including the game winner as the Phillies topped the Mets, 5-4 in 11...The Yankees may want to put Chien Ming Wang back in the bullpen and bring Phil Hughes back into the rotation after Wang gave up four runs in a two and two thirds innings in the Yankees 6-5 loss to the Red Sox...Apparently no one cares about A-Rod...Justin Verlander pitched a complete game as the Tigers edged the ChiSox, 2-1...Carlos Quentin is not coming off the DL...The Rockies made it seven straight, doubling up the Brewers, 4-2...The Cardinals ended their five game losing streak in convincing fashion, pounding the Marlins, 13-4...When I finally decide to put Carl Pavano on my fantasy team he goes and gives up nine earned runs in less than five innings for his first loss since May 16th. Your welcome Carl and the Royals!...MLB has banned Manny Ramirez from the Dodgers clubhouse.

Basketball: It was a day for former stars to rip currrent ones as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar called Dwight Howard's moves predictable...And Alonzo Mourning is giving all the Lakers credit to Kobe Bryant not Phil Jackson...Stephen Curry wants to play for the Knicks. Good to see someone does.
