Hockey: The Rangers snapped their three game losing streak with a 5-4 win over the Islanders. The Isle remain winless in the month of December and goalie Rick DiPietro remains made of glass...Maxim Lapierre scored a hat trick as the Canadiens topped the Panthers 5-2. The win was the franchises 3,000th...Evgeni Nabokov picked up his 20th win this season, stopping 28 shots as the Sharks cruised to a 3-1 win over the Stars...Blue Jackets blanked the Kings, 2-0...Paul Kariya will likely undergo hip surgery in the next few weeks...US Junior Team beat the Czech Republic, 4-3.

Best of the Rest: A.J. Allmedinger will reportedly replace Elliott Sadler in the #19 GEM Dodge. I feel back for the way Allmendinger was forced out at Red Bull, but getting rid of Sadler is not a good call.
