Baseball: The Dodgers have made an interesting two year offer to Manny Ramirez...Alex Rodriguez hit a homerun in his first spring training game and then promptly got into a car driven by his cousin, yes that cousin. Does A-Rod have that big a craving for attention?...The Indians christened their new spring training home with a 10-7 loss to the Giants...On the same day Rockies pitcher Jeff Francis' season came to an official close, the Twins relieved RHP Boof Bonser will miss the season after arthroscopic surgery revealed partial tears in his labrum and rotator cuff...Jim Bowden may still have a job with the Nats, but special assistant Jose Rijo does not.

Basketball: The Clippers edged the Celtics, 93-91...In Tim Duncan's absence, Tony Parker picked up the slack, knocking down 39 points as the Spurs rolled past the Blazers, 99-84...Devin Harris followed up his game winning performance on Monday with 42 points in the Nets 111-99 victory over the Bulls.

College Basketball: Duke took down Maryland, 78-67...While Virginia Tech upset Clemson, 80-77...Jim Calhoun picked up his 800th career victory as the Huskies bested Marquette, 93-82.
Football: Brandon Jacobs and the Giants have agreed to a four year, $25 million contract...The Dolphins have reached a deal with free agent Gibril Wilson...Sources reveiled the Jets have parted ways with receiver Laveranues Coles.



Hockey: The Rangers fell to the Maples 2-1 in a shoot-out in John Tortorella's debut. Well at least Markus Naslund got himself into his first fight in 16 years...The Wings dominated the Sharks, 4-1...Petr Sykora's goal late in the third period was the difference maker in the Penguins 1-0 win over the Islanders. Sidney Crosby missed the game with a groin injury...Martin Biron registered his 25th career shutout as the Flyers blanked the Kings, 2-0...Marty is expected back in goal for the Devils on Thursday.
