Florida State receiver Preston Parker was arrested for the third time since 2006 on Saturday after passing out in his car in the McDonald’s drive-thru. How selfish. I mean how am I going to get my number 1 supersized with some kid holding up the line?According to reports, Parker’s blood alcohol level was under the legal limit of 0.08, but a urine sample tested positive for marijuana. When asked, Parker admitted to drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana prior to his arrest. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and was being held on a $500 bond.
But as I was saying, this isn’t the first time Parker has had a run-in with the popo. In April 2008, he was arrested on gun and drug charges which he later pleaded to guilty to reduced charge of misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon. He was also arrested in 2006 after he attempted to steal a DVD from Best Buy. The charges were later dropped.
As for his career at FSU, well let’s just say the team is used to these kinds of incidents, but no formal punishment has been announced. In the meantime, watch out Parker, because the popo are on your tail!
