Those kids from Pitt definitely enjoyed the Super Bowl, but some may say a little too much. About 20 students were arrested for their post-Super Bowl winning euphoria which caused many to throw bottles, set small fires, smash windows and overturn cars in the Oakland area were the school’s primary campus is located.
Pitt stated on Wednesday that it planned to punish students involved in the raucous on Thursday it announced suspensions for two students and a charge of wrong doing for a third student. The University is continuing to review surveillance tapes to decide if others will be punished.
The 20 arrestees were among 83 people who were rounded up by the popo on Sunday night and Monday morning.
Watch out revelers, because the popo are on your tail!
