How do you say “oh crap” in French?

Le Canadiens? Kostitsyn possibly? All good tries, but even though I took Spanish instead of French in middle school I am almost 100% sure neither is the correct answer, on the other hand, after today’s scandalous report in the French newspaper La Presse, I might not be that far off. According to the article, a number of Habs players could have a strong connection to alleged intermediary Pasquale Mangiola, who is facing weapons and drug charges. It seems Magniola and the Kostitsyn brothers Sergei and Andrei have been seen gallivanting through Montreal hanging out at local bars and restaurants, while defenseman Roman Hamrlik may be also be connected with the alleged criminal.

This latest revelation puts quite a damper on a team that has been celebrating its 100th birthday. Between Alexei Kovalev’s recent paid vacation and their continued poor performance on the ice, this probably takes the cake as the most embarrassing incident so far this season.

Watch out Canadiens, because the popo are on your tail!
