Escape from LA: 2009 MLB Playoffs

ALCS
Yankees v. Angels
Game 5 Recap:

Angels 7, Yankees 6
Despite most people agreeing the Yankees participation in this year’s World Series was a foregone conclusion, the Angels proved they were not ready to just throw in the towel and allow the Bombers to walk into the final round of the playoffs. Los Angels garnered a four run lead before A.J. Burnett even had a chance to blink but the Yankees stormed back, stunning the Halos with a six run seventh in which all of the runs were scored with two out in the inning. The Angels, however, stung right back with Kendry Morales driving in the go-ahead run to cap a three run seventh that gave the Angels a 7-6 victory and a trip to back to New York.
