The Don't Forget to Touch Third, Victorino Edition: 2009 MLB Playoffs

ALCS
Yankees v. Angels
Game 1: Friday, October 16 at 7:37 PM

NLDS
Phillies v. Rockies
Game 4 Recap:
Phillies 5, Rockies 4
It was all about the late game rally for the Phillies, a theme that stretched through their first round series with the Rockies. In the bottom of the 8th, nursing a two one run lead, the Rockies bats exploded four three runs, including a RBI single by Jason Giambi which tied the game at two. Giambi would later score when Yorvit Torrealba doubled to center. But they don’t call them the Fightin Phils for nothing. Ryan Howard doubled in Shane Victorino and Chase Utley in the top the ninth and scored on a Jayson Werth single to give the Phillies the 5-4 advantage. Brad Lidge came in to relieve Scott Eyre, striking out Troy Tulowitzki and sending the Phils to the NLCS where they will take on the Dodgers for the second straight year.
WP: Ryan Madson (1-0) LP: Huston Street (0-2) S: Brad Lidge (2)
