Celtics forward Glen Davis will likely be suspended by the team after being involved in an altercation on Sunday that resulted in a broken thumb. Davis will undergo surgery to repair the thumb on Tuesday and be out for sometime although that’s not stopping the team from teaching him a lesson.

Davis will undergo surgery to repair the thumb on Tuesday and be out for sometime although that’s not stopping the team from teaching him a lesson. "We'll deal with it," Celtics co-owner Wyc Grousbeck told WFXT. "I'm not going to call him 'Big Baby' anymore. He's Glen. He needs to act like Glen. We'll decide what to do once I talk to him, once we talk to him today."
"It's very likely he'll be suspended. And he'll have some time to think about it. It'll be a message, a teachable moment for the rest of the guys on the team."
Davis signed a two year, $6 million contract to stay in Boston this off season and was expected to be a major asset coming off the bench for the team.
