two is not always better than one

Nascar Update:
Don't listen to reports that Rusty Wallace will come out of retirement and start racing again. Sadly we'll continue to have to listen to his voice on TV instead.

Two news stories regarding Michael Waltrip Racing - Veteran Crew Chief Bootie Barker will be moving over to Michael Waltrip's car in 2009 - The Brad Daughtery owned JTG Daughtery will form a technical alliance with MWR.

Ryan Newman is hoping to end his partnership with Penske Racing on a high note.

Football Update:
Titans QB Vince Young has returned to practice for the first time since September 7th. During that time, he's been the center of a mental health controversy, while Kerry Collins has lead the team to three straight wins.

Patriots head coach Bill Belichick denied claims by Raiders owner Al Davis that New England worked out Randy Moss before a trade was completed for the WR.

The Saints have re-signed Joey Harrington for the second time this season.

Injury Update: Bengals QB Carson Palmer (elbwo) is questionable...Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin suffered a fractured sinus membrane as a result of a head-to-head collision with Jets safety Eric Smith...Packers placed DL Cullen Jenkins on IR.

News&Notes: Boise State cruised past Louisiana Tech, 38-3...Ryan Callahan scored with :20 remaning to give the Rangers a 4-3 win over the KHL Metallurg to win the first ever Victoria Cup...A few days late on this one, but Teemu Selanne has signed a two year, $5.25 million contract with the Ducks. Crap Oliver Perez could stand to make three times that amount in one year if someone goes along with Scott Boras plan. Selanne deserves a heck of a lot more than that...Ben Gordon signed a one year, $6.3 million deal with the Bulls.

Check this out: Could we be in for another strike? This time it could be the actor's putting an end to the TV season. Remember last year when they had the writer's strike and it screwed up TV ratings when the shows came back because found other things to do? Well if the actor's strike it would be even worse because less people are remembering to tune into their favorite shows. So if no one's watching TV or going to the movies, it won't matter what percentage of internet, etc... sales you get, because 50% of nothing is still nothing. Click here for more details. (PS SAG - PLEASE DON'T STRIKE!!!!) via GMMR
