Ain't no ghosts in those walls: LSC 2008 Update

LSC Recap:
Tampa Bay Rays @ Boston Red Sox
If you were like me and turned off last night’s game around the seventh inning then when you awoke this morning you were a little confused as to why a team with a 7-0 lead with only seven outs remaining would end up on the losing end of an 8-7 score. That’s just what happened to the Rays on Thursday. So that begs the question, Is the youth and inexperience of the Rays starting to show or has the magic come back for the Red Sox? Whatever the reasoning Boston was able to score 8 runs over the final three innings, including a homerun and game winning double by J.D. Drew to push this series to a game 6 in St. Pete.
WP: Justin Masterson (1-0) LP: J.P. Howell (0-1)
Rays Lead Series: 3-2

Next Game:
Tampa Bay Rays v. Boston Red Sox
Rays Pitcher: James Shields (0-1)
Red Sox Pitcher: Josh Beckett (0-1)
First Pitch: 8:07 PM/est on SATURDAY on TBS

News&Notes: Andy Pettitte wants to pitch for the Yankees next year...But I don't think he has to worry about Joba Chamberlain taking his spot, because if it only took a month and a half for his shoulder to crap out once, I'm sure it will happen again. Good call Mr. Steinbrenner...Sad news, former Yankee Tom Tresh has passed away...The Nationals would like former Mets manager Willie Randolph on its coaching staff...MLBPA claims there was some collusion going on, which kept Barry Bonds from playing baseball last season...Jake Peavy is being made available and so far the Braves and Yankees are looking to be very interested.
