College Football: Tommy Bowden is out as head coach at Clemson after the team started a disappointing 3-3.



Football: The Browns delievered a shocking 35-14 defeat of the defending Super Bowl Champion and previously undefeated New York Giants...Tony Romo could be out for up to four weeks with a broken pinkie...Adam Jones could be out for longer if it is ruled that he violated his parole...Shaun Alexander had a meeting with the Redskins. I can't believe he hasn't caught on with another team by now...Peyton Manning did in fact have two knee surgeries...Good news, Richard Collier has been released from the hospital.

Hockey: It was a day of highs and lows for the Rangers after defeating their rivals the New Jersey Devils, 4-1 to remain undefeated...The team also received some sad news after it was announced that their #1 draft pick Alexei Cherepanov collapsed and died at the age of 19. Russian officials are looking into the incident...The Capitals held the Canucks to just ten shots in their 5-1 victory...The Predators put a damper on the Blackhawks home opener with a 3-2 shoot-out win...The Kings will be without defenseman Jack Johnson for 2 to 3 months after he suffered a shoulder injury during their 1-0 loss to the Sharks on Sunday.

Nascar: The COT is coming to the Nationwide Series in 2010...Could that Series along with the Cup and Truck be featuring smaller fields?...It's safe to say Carl Edwards has had better weeks.

Best of the Rest: Lewis Hamilton is accusing rival Felipe Massa of intentionally bumping into him during the Japanese Grand Prix. Them fightin' words Hamilton!...Big Brown's career is officially over...So maybe Lance Armstrong won't race in the Tour de France.
