Not one to jump to conclusions, it’s looking more and more like Plaxico Burress’ trial and subsequent sentencing will just be a formality after the talented and unemployed wide receiver was indicted on three weapons charges on Monday. Luckily, his BFF Antonio Pierce was not indicted and will be free to kick complete ass for the Giants.
Burress was hit up with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and one count of reckless endangerment. One count of the fashion crime of wearing sweatpants outside of a gym was not included. Plax is facing a maximum of three and half years in jail and is currently free on $100,000 bail after pleading not guilty.
