A billion dollars is just not worth what it used to be

With the litany of problems discovered after the completion of the $1.5 billion behemoth in the South Bronx, it should come as no surprise that a major issue is developing in the $1.15 billion new Cowboys Stadium. That silly video display board featured in the photo above is causing all sorts of problems. Hanging 90 feet above the playing field, it has become a target for errant kicks forcing the league to rule that for this season, any ball that hits the video board will be replayed and the clock will be reset.

As for next year, well there looks to be a bit of reconstruction on the horizon. Goodness, it seems like all a billion dollars will get you is one crappy stadium.
