Former Giants WR Plaxico Burress has pleaded guilty to a weapons charge and will be sentenced to 2 years in jail – 1 ½ years less than the mandatory sentence he was facing for criminal possession of a weapon. Under the plea agreement, Burress pleaded guilty to one count of attempted criminal possession. In addition to his time in jail, he’ll also receive two years of supervised release.
