St. Louis went on to beat the Padres, 5-2. I bet all of Boston is wondering where that performance was while he was with the Red Sox...Although they should probably be more concerned with Josh Beckett's perforamance on Sunday where he gave up 5 homeruns in the Yankees, 8-4 romp...Billy Wagner's trade to the Red Sox is in jeopardy. I think Jonathan Papelbon would be ok with that...After Tim Lincecum no hit the Rockies for over five innings, Colorado bounced back to double up the Giants, 4-2...Colorado reportedly signed veteran Jason Giambi...Brian McCann's career high five RBIs helped lift the Braves past the Marlins, 7-5...Michael Cuddyer homered twice in the Twins 8 run seventh inning to give Minnesota the 10-3 advantage over the Royals...Both the Rangers and Cubs avoided sweeps...White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen is hopeful Jake Peavy will pitch for Chicago by the end of the season...Get well wishes go out to Aaron Harang who had an appendectomy.

Football: Michael Vick has a court appearance scheduled in Virginia on the same day he's supposed to start for the Eagles...Hopefully the Giants have a plan B because Chris Canty's hamstring injury is not getting any better...In other injury news, Seahawks center Chris Spencer has an injured leg...Panthers middle linebacker Jon Beason may or may not have torn his MCL...And Bucs linebacker Angelo Corwell tore his biceps.

Hockey: Dany Heatley still wants out of Ottawa...Mats Sundin and his agent will meet to decide his future. Oh great so the Brett Favre dance is over, why not start the Mats Sundin one instead?
