Stand Still, Look Pretty

Baseball: I'd like to pretend that the eight run fourth inning never happened during the Mets 9-4 victory over the Braves. Because without that, the Braves would have won 4-1. Oh to dream...A rain delay ruined Pedro Martinez's first start at home for the Phillies, but it didn't ruin the game as Philadelphia topped the Diamondbacks, 5-1...The Padres doubled up the Cubs, 6-3 who didn't need the aid of newly named closer Carlos Marmol, you know with them losing and all...Ricky Nolasco fanned 10 while the Marlins got 10 hits for their fourteenth consecutive game. When did they start making that one?...Tony Stewart stopped by "Fox & Friends" on Tuesday. Click here for the interview.

Best of the Rest: The NCAA is investigating Tennessee freshman running back Bryce Brown's amateur status...Romain Grosjean will replace Nelson Piquet Jr. behind the wheel for Renault...Venus Williams lost to Kateryna Bondarenko in the second round of the Rogers Cup 1-6, 7-5, 6-4.
