Got me sayin' No No No No No

Braves Update:
Jeff Francoeur and Scott Thorman homered in the Braves rematch of the 1991 World Series, but a five run fourth by the Minnesota Twins was enough to end the Braves winning streak at two after their 7-3 loss. Kyle Davies pitched three solid innings prior to the fourth, but then the wheels fell off. The Braves look to get back on track tonight when Chuck James will go up against Carlos Silva. The game starts at 8:10 PM/est on FSN.

Games behind NY Mets in NL East: 2
Games above .500: 5
NL Wild Card Leader: Los Angeles Dodgers/Arizona Diamondbacks/San Diego Padres

Braves Notes: While Chipper Jones did not start in Tuesday's game, Bobby Cox is hoping to activate him in time for Wednesday night's game against the Twins. Cross your fingers!

NASCAR Update:
Dale Earnhardt, Jr. has called a press conference for Wednesday at 11 AM/est. He is expected to announce that he will be joining Hendrick Motorsports next season.

Terry Labonte will replace Michael Waltrip at the two road courses this season. Waltrip has qualified for just two races this season, Daytona and Dover.

News & Notes: Congratulations to Justin Verlander who notched his first no-hitter and the first ever pitched at Comerica Park in the Detroit Tigers 4-0 win over the Milwaukee Brewers...The Los Angeles Dodgers hit three homeruns in a row including one by the pitcher, Hong-Chih Kuo in their 4-1 win over the New York Mets.

It's been fun blogging with you,
Kate
