"Friday Night Lights"is coming back for a second season. The critically acclaimed but ratings challenged drama about a small Texas town and their love of all things football had been on the bubble. At first NBC had only green-lit six scripts, hardly a full renewal, but a sign that the network had faith in the show. Something changed, (probably a bunch of crappy pilots) and NBC is expected to announce at upfronts next week, that "FNL" will be back! I'm so excited I can't even explain. After the departure of "Gilmore Girls" I didn't need any more dissappointments.
