Omigod, Omigod You Guys!

Chipper Jones remained red hot, hitting two homers during Tuesday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies, but it was not enough as the Braves fell 6-4. After only one and two thirds innings, starter, Mark Redman was pulled from the game, giving up four runs and wasting the Braves early 3 run lead. After five starts, Redman has become a liablity and the Braves maybe looking for a new back end starter. The Braves finish off their series with the Phillies tonight at 7:35 PM/est on ESPN/FSN. Chuck James (3-2) will face the Phils Freddy Garcia (1-1).

Games ahead of New York Mets in the NL East: 1/2
Games above .500: 6
Wild Card Leader: New York Mets

Braves Notes: Tuesday's game may prove costly for the Braves. During the second inning, catcher Brian McCann was hit in the glove by a Rod Barajas swing. McCann had originally injured his left ring finger after being hit by a pitch. McCann was visably in pain and had to leave the game because he was unable to catch Mark Redman's pitches. By the end of the game, back-up catcher Bryan Pena was dizzie after being hit in the helmet by Greg Dobb's back swing. The two catchers are questionable for Wednesday's game against the Phillies. If needed, the Braves will call up catcher Corky Miller from triple-A Richmond.

Note to would be game/race interferers, just don't do it. 14 people have been banned from Talladega for life after being caught throwing debris onto the track after Jeff Gordon's win. A New York Mets fan was banned from Shea Stadium for three years after shining a flashlight onto the field to distract two Braves players during an April 20th game. Frank Martinez will also spend 15 days in jail. Watch out guys because the popo are on your tail!

Last week I saw Legally Blonde the Musical on Broadway. I for one, am not easy to impress, but this Musical was genuinely fun. It never took itself too seriously and really honored the film version. (More so than say Legally Blonde 2) The music was cheeky, the acting on target and the staging was great. If you're looking for a light hearted play, check this one out. To see a preview of Legally Blonde and interview with its star, Laura Bell Bundy click here. You can buy tickets here.

It's been fun blogging with you,

Kate
