Baseball: With the way the Mets season has been going so far, it only seems natural that their starting pitcher Fernando Nieve would go down in the second after trying to run out a ground ball. Yunel Escobar has four RBIs in the win just a day after he made two mental gaffes' in the Braves loss on Saturday...And the four RBIs is why the Braves shouldn't trade Escobar...On a day when the Giants lost part owner Susan Burns, Matt Cain tossed a gem, allowing one run in seven innings, as San Francisco downed the Pirates, 4-3...Considering Jack Wilson and Freddie Sanchez rejected contract extensions, it's looking like that Bucs pair could be on the next train out of Pittsburgh...The Phillies extended their win streak to eight after blanking the Marlins, 5-0...Speaking of the Phillies, buzzed about pitcher Roy Halladay pitched his fourth complete game as the Blue Jays beat the Red Sox, 3-1...The A's lost the chance at a perfect game in the seventh and then lost the game in the 10th to the Angels...Ian Kinsler opened and closed his day with a homerun, the second giving the Rangers a 5-3 victory over the Twins...Nelson Cruz was out of Sunday's game with a broken finger...On Old Timer's Day, the Yankees doubled up the Tigers, 2-1 to complete a three game sweep...Jason Marquis become the first in the majors to get 12 wins as the Rockies pounded the Padres, 6-1...The Padres All-Star Edgar Gonzalez is in the hospital after getting hit in the head by a 93 MPH pitch...Trade Update: The Padres acquired Oscar Salazar from the Orioles for pitcher Cla Meredith...Meanwhile the Brew Crew picked up Felipe Lopez from the D'Backs for two minor leaguers.

A certain point, it's smart to just walk away with just a shred of dignity.
